The Star in the East is a Congregation of "The Way" of Yeshua (Jesus) located in Canton, OH.

Established in June of 1998 as "The STAR in The East Messianic Congregation", led by founding and current Rabbi Michael Oyler. Throughout our journey, from our humble beginnings meeting in the lower level of Cornerstone Chapel, to 14 years in the Oakwood Square, to our current location for the past 5 years in the former City of Hope church, we have remained steadfast declaring there is but One God... One Word... and One Way...through Messiah Yeshua.
Today, we have evolved into a young, vibrant family where Biblical truth supersedes religious tradition, setting those ancient truths inside a contemporary Worship environment.
Our heart is to reach the lost with the message of salvation, found only through Messiah Yeshua.
