SUKKOT 2022 - OPENING SERVICE
In anticipation of our guests, Sue and Brian Samuel, we took into consideration what it would take to broadcast more than a simple Facebook stream on a phone for Sukkot 2022. The result, bringing half our equipment outside, didn't only allow for simulcast...it also provided us the ability to add lyrics so those at home could sing along :)
YOM KIPPUR SERVICES
We created what we believe to be a first-of-it's-kind Yom Kippur online experience. Building upon the tradition of wearing white, starting in 2021, Yom Kippur is produced in black and white as a storytelling device, assisting in creating a narrative about reverent introspection.
HAVDALAH ONLINE ARCHIVE SPECIAL
When a computer outage struck and took down our livestream for a Shabbat, we went to work on creating an online experience using archival footage. Havdalah Online Archive Special is the resulting package, including dances, liturgy, worship songs, flags, a Spanish song, drash, and even a live recording of Ted Pearce.
LIVE@SITE ONLINE
For many years, we at The Star in the East have been blessed with artists coming through and leading us during what we call "LIVE@SITE" events. Thanks to the technology S.I.T.E. Productions has received over the last few years, we have been able to produce an experience that allows those unable to be there to sing along with us and take in the atmosphere.
